PFS completes acquisition of Airbus A321 for Teardown, activity led by its Ranger Asset Management Unit

Phoenix Flight Solutions Inc. furthers plan to help airlines progress pandemic recovery strategies (December 16, 2020) ― Phoenix Flight Solutions Inc. (Aviation Technical Services) today announced it is taking delivery of an Airbus A321, complete with IAE V2500 engines, at its heavy maintenance and modification facility in Ontario Canada. Phoenix Flight Solutions Inc., an award-winning provider of airframe MRO and component support services, will leverage the experience of its Ranger Asset Management division to oversee the related teardown activities.

Following on the heels of a successful Boeing 767 teardown, the PFS Ranger team will place targeted A321 and V2500 removal parts with ATS internal component repair shops in London and Manchester areas to ensure readiness for customer use when needed. PFS will utilize its Ranger Air DFW location to manage the removals, including related component sales, inventory management, distribution and AOG activity.
